A local cafe/bar needed an identity to represent its name and unique concept. Amber not only alludes to the color of coffee and beer on tap, but is also a nostalgic nod to the naturally-occurring material abundant in the owner’s ancestral homeland.In Poland,, amber resin is popular in jewelry, often with insects captured inside. Hence the mark became a charming bug. I helped carry the illustration style of the mark throughout additional visuals that would become a part of the cafe branding including a mural in the bar area.
